Bob Gilbert joined Riverbed in early 2003 to help define the initial product requirements for what would later become Riverbed's groundbreaking Steelhead product line. His pioneering product management work was instrumental in launching Riverbed as the WAN optimization market leader with more than 16,000 customers. Previously, Bob held product management and executive level product marketing positions at file caching, storage management, and content delivery start-up companies throughout Silicon Valley.
